Can vista home premium be upgraded to windows 7 ultimate
Was this reply helpful? Yes No. Sorry this didn't help. Thanks for your feedback. Upgrade paths: When making significant changes to your computer such as an upgrade, it is always recommended you backup your system prior to installing a new version of Windows.
In your case, you can upgrade to Windows 7 depending on edition and architecture of Windows Vista you have installed. If you are running a 32 bit version of Vista and want to upgrade to a 64 bit version edition of Windows 7 , you will have to a do clean install, this applies vice-versa.
Get a Windows 7 upgrade later. Basically it says if you buy vista now you can upgrade to w7 during release.
Seems like a ploy to back the people that want to upgrade their os now but dont want to waste money because of the soon release of W7. I entered my Vista ultimate key and got a grand total of 9. I just filled this out with the same result, but I have Vista Home premium, and I bought it the December before last. It seems to be letting me go through too But the next screen asks me what version I bought, apparently I can click Ultimate Wonder what happens if I do.
Ok the thing is you can get the deal but you have to be able to prove you purchased the version you said you did between the dates. Am I right in thinking from the greyed out boxes that this is currently only available in the US? Red, I just liked the really cool black version of the box it came in No honestly I cant tell you the difference as I dont have Premium, but you have a good point. The only answer I could give you is that I wasnt broke at the time I needed vista.

On amazon, I pre-purchased an upgrade version for Windows 7 Pro. From what I'm learning here, an actual "upgrade" will not be possible. Is that correct? I don't mind doing a clean install Thanks to all! I just orderd the 7 Ultimate upgrade and I ran the upgrade advisor that stated what Keith said.
I have a 32 bit vista home premium oem but I want to install the Windows 7 Ultimate 64 bit when I get it, am I all good? Sunday, September 27, AM. All systems legal activated. I wan't update my all comps to Windows 7 with this pack. It's possible upgrade with Familly Pack my All computers to identical based 7?
New System - ver 7 this is better final version Vista. For me - its not bugged Windows 6. Only buy, buy and buy. Vista isn't revell. Typical in order to forget about it unfortunately not very sensational system - a possibility would be useful to a much cheap revision for all Vista users! Profits only! Up to it I bought Ultimate - a much cheaper possibility of the update was supposed to be to iidentical of Windows 7 version.
I understand - nothing for free - but why the Microsoft favours only users in the interim period? I know it still from XP - it was identically. Damage - quite a lot of users can become discouraged from such a politics.
Far more it is possible to make a profit respecting and caring for all legal users. I tested Windows 7 Ultimate x 64 RC and the pose with lack of the possibility of Classic Menu more efficient navigation I can see very positives! New beta! Net profit only! Sorry - my English - is not revell
